i'm not sure anymore
I'm having a day where everything makes me want to turn into a blubbering idiot.
I actually think I've reached my breaking point. They say God doesn't give us more than we can handle but what happens when we've handled all we can... then what??
I'm struggling with an overabundance of emotions..... guilt, resentment, happiness, anger, anticipation, disappointment, optimism, pessimism, affection, pride, relief, sadness... I could go on and on but you get the jist here.
I don't know if my physical self can handle my emotional self anymore.
I've prayed and prayed, for myself and for others. I've tried to tell myself tomorrow is a new day. Unfortunately for the last week, nothing has worked or I should say I FEEL as if nothing is working.
Today I cry at the drop of an eyelash... the mere thought of someone asking me a question... I should've stayed in bed.

The great thing about being a child is you can be anything you want!! I, however, wanted to be like Dolly Parton... boobs and all. I really thought I could sing country music. Even went so far as to ask my mom how to get big boobs like Dolly. Her response, "eat your corn." I ate corn, it didn't work!
2. What have you done in the past week to help someone else?
the same thing I've been doing since November 15th, taking care of her 3 kids!

My friend, Danielle, she wears really nice and cute outfits.

Oak trees! I love them... they are big and they have the best branches to crawl up in and just hide out... we used to do it all the time when we were little living in Prairie Lea, TX.

still pray
a peek into my weekend....
Just in case you were all wondering what BIG plans I have for the weekend, wellll.... if things go accordingly I will look a bit like this:
This, by the way, is NOT my dog, just a dog enjoying life. Oh how I wish, it were that simple!!! But it's not, no one to feed me, let me out when I gotta pee, play ball with me, and rub my head til one leg starts kicking away... lol.. Instead it's off to work, cooking, cleaning, no sleep, getting up at night to warm bottles... etc.. etc.... But this weekend... NOPE... I'm resting!!!
This, by the way, is NOT my dog, just a dog enjoying life. Oh how I wish, it were that simple!!! These are my two nephews and niece that live with me... and at that moment they were ACTUALLY being good... it's a rarity!
Random blahness
Yep, it's hump day and I'm still in a funk. Just blah!!! Nothing seems to excite me and I dang sure cant' get motivated. What I really want to do is just sit at my desk and cry!!!
So, in all my random thoughts today that I may post on later, here are some random pics!
This is Charlie... our dog who doesn't realize he is a dog. He will NOT eat dog food and instead beats the cats up and takes their food.... go figure. Notice how he is sticking his tongue out at me. Bad dog Charlie!!!
Here is Princess Lily. She has learned to tolerate Charlie and the rest of us. She likes Becca the most. She gets on my last nerve because she loves to sleep on the table. Although the other day I caught her on the kitchen counter. The sun was shining through the window that day and I guess at that height she didn't have to worry about Charlie waking her from her nap.
And this is cat #2... he has several names... Big Daddy, Conway, Damn Cat. He is our most loving pet by far. He loves to sleep in Addy's bouncy seat which causes me to break out the lint roller everytime we put him back outside. If we keep him in too long he forgets to use the litter box... ewww. He is giving Becca kisses in the pics!
Okay, going back to work now.... blah!

the whole scheme of things
Well, hot diggity dang, I made it through Monday!!! Yay for me.... not really a great accomplishment in the whole scheme of things. Just my opinion.
I forgot my glasses this morning and everything is a blur so pardon me if my spelling is not up to par. Thanks!
I hate writing a blog where all I'm doing is complaining but dang, I got some complaining to do and I am using this as a form of therapy.... soooooo....
Work has been crazy. I can't seem to get caught up. Maybe it's because I'm to busy reading and writing blogs.... nah, that can't be it. I think its contributed by the fact that everytime I start getting there, I have to take off for something that involves the other three children I have living with me. It's very irritating. I'm thankful that my company is understanding but still, when I'm missing a day or so a week it just doesn't look good in the whole scheme of things.
I'm in the process of training others to do my job so they can fill in as needed. And in this process I'm creating a training manual and I want it to be perfect so that if someone who has never done this before sits at my desk, they should have no problems creating the paperwork needed. I really don't want to fail at this.
Today I'm meeting my cousin, Vanessa, for lunch. I left my camera at her house Saturday when I attended her bridal shower. We have sat down and had a conversation in a while so it will be nice. It's sad that we don't live too far from one another yet never see each other on a regular basis.
Speaking of the shower, here a few pics that my aunt sent me because you know, I was forgetful and forgot my camera.

It was good to see family the other day.
Got a call from the lawyer's office yesterday morning and the adoption papers have been filed at the courthouse. Now we are trying to schedule the counseling sessions and lawyer visit with the birth mother and that's not going so great. I can't get anyone to freakin' call me back!!!! UGH!!! Once that is done and we have home study and at least 45 days has passed then they can schedule the court date to make everything final. He said it should all be done and said within the next three months. That's good news!
On the other hand, my hubs is driving me completely insane!!! As well as my 16 year old who thinks she is grown!!! WTH???? She doesn't seem to care about her grades or anything else. She made co-captain of the varsity cheer squad for next year. I reminded her that without goood grades she wouldn't be cheering at squat! Then I got total attitude from her... why oh why??? She really isn't a bad kid, just has a bad attitude. I don't know what to do anymore as far as her grades are concerned. I'm exhausted.
Anyways, enough ranting and raving, I gotta get my behind back to work. Happy Tuesday to you all!

Not me Monday - it's a bad day

Oh boy, here we go again!!!
I did NOT work my butt off last week to get a few overtime hours on my check only to lose them when I had to take off Friday.
I did NOT puke in my mouth Thursday night when I walked into the kiddos bedroom only to find that Emily had puked and pooped all in her bed.
I was NOT thankful that her mattress is waterproof and puke proof and could be easily cleaned with Lysol.
I did NOT have to take Emily to the doctor on Friday morning because she had severe diarrhea and a fever of 103.
She did NOT proceed to poop all over me two times while we were at the doctor.
I do NOT have a week stomach and this did NOT bother me at all... hence the puke in the mouth.
I did NOT go Saturday to my cousin's bridal shower and have my first mimosa ever... okay, well maybe two mimosa's ever... lol
Vanessa did NOT look beautiful in her pink and black dress.
My visit was NOT cut short and I did NOT run off and forget my camera at her house.
This, of course, did NOT piss me off!!! I do NOT feel lost without my camera.
Addison was NOT oohhed and ahhed over at said shower!!! Why would anyone do that???
We did NOT grill steaks and sausage on Saturday evening because it was such a beautiful day!!!
I am NOT having feelings of guilt because I feel like my life has been put on hold while I raise another person's children. I do NOT at times resent that!
I did NOT get extremely aggravated with hubby and his snoring last night. And when I woke him he did NOT start complaining about how HE never gets any sleep.
He did NOT sleep on the couch and did NOT threaten that he was moving out today.
I did NOT tell him that I didn't care, that I was glad he was leaving. I am NOT tired of fighting with him all the dang time!!!
I am NOT having a bad day, I am NOT having a bad day, I am NOT having a bad day.
I am NOT thankful, however, that no other child has gotten sick with the virus so far!

Fast and Furious
Okay, I admit it, I have a weakness for this. My reason:
Paul Walker... completely hot. Forget Vin Diesel (although he's nice looking). This blonde hair, blue eyed hunk takes the cake! I've seen every Fast and Furious movie since the first.. even though he was not in Tokyo Drift... still.
And he's in this movie, "Running Scared", and completely hot in it also... wait, I don't think I've seen a movie he's not hot in... lol
So, am I going to see Fast and Furious when it opens April 3rd... well, of course!!! But I will use Blake as my excuse for going..

Not Me Monday!!! - monday again???
Welcome to Not Me! Monday! This blog carnival was created by MckMama. You can head over to her blog to read what she and everyone else have not been doing this week.
I did NOT wake up this morning and think, "Oh my, Monday again". Nope, wasn't me, because I just LOVE Mondays!
I did NOT spend all day Saturday at home cleaning only to realize last night, that you can't tell.
I was NOT secretely thrilled that my hubs had to work all weekend because that meant that I didn't have to deal with his complaining.
It did NOT rain for two days straight over the last week and it so did NOT drive me crazy.
I have NOT been having to go every evening and pick up two kids from day care, drop them off, switch vehicles, go feed six horses, go back home and get the other vehicle, then go pick up Ms. Addy. No, I would NOT do that becaue that is just way too stressful.
A bag of horse feed and a bale of hay are NOT heavy and I am super woman and it has NOT taken it's toll on my back!!!
I am NOT still trying to potty train Emily who does awesome at day care but wants to be a little butt when she gets home and will poop her pants. I do NOT just throw away the panties instead of washing them out because poop makes me gag.
With this said, Emily has NOT gotten into a biting stage and started biting her brothers like crazy. I have NOT dealt with this enough and just told them to start biting her back... I wouldn't do that, not the best advice.
I did NOT get to spend all day yesterday with my three "babies" and we did NOT just enjoy a day out.
I did NOT go pick up my glasses yesterday and that are not tremendously helping. I think I am in love!
And I am NOT closing this post with a few pics from our outing yesterday. Enjoy!
