This is her after braces... She is not happy at all. I keep telling her they don't look bad and she looks cute but she is having none of it. I remind her that when it's all over with she will have really straight, pretty teeth and that's going to make that wonderful smile of hers even more beautiful!

I think a young girl has to ~assume a certain persona~ with braces. The coolly detached look. I've seen some girls pull this off, truly. That said, she looks good. I hope it isn't too much of a self-esteem mountain for her, but I'll bet you will give her tons of encouragement. ~Mary

Oh I remember getting braces for the fist time. I did not smile for a week. Then I got use to them and I love what they did for my smile! But she looks cool in them, she will be fine in a day or two.
I actually think braces look cool on people. :)
She really is one of those girls that can pull of braces. She looks cute with them! And YES they are worth it!
